Viewpoint Creative has been awarded the promotion campaign, design and program packaging for Discovery Channel’s programming event, “Greatest American”. This three-part special, scheduled to air in June, asks the American public to stand up and vote for who they think is the “Greatest American”.

Boston, MA; Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 5, 2005 — Viewpoint Creative has been awarded the promotion campaign, design and program packaging for Discovery Channel’s programming event, “Greatest American”. This three-part special, scheduled to air in June, asks the American public to stand up and vote for who they think is the “Greatest American”.



The campaign, which includes logo design, promotion design and show packaging, features a contemporary look at classic patriotic imagery. It also features original footage of everyday people talking about their favorite Americans. “We’re attempting to take patriotic design to an entirely different level,” stated Viewpoint Creative Designer, Matt Naboshek.



“Our goal in designing the campaign is to make the viewer aware that “Greatest American” isn’t just a show to watch, it’s an event to take part in.” adds Viewpoint Creative Art Director, Michael Frederick.

The look, created by Viewpoint Creative, will serve as the foundation for all marketing and programming components of the specials, including on-air promotion, on-line, print program and voting materials.



Viewpoint Creative’s Director, Patrick Kiely, shot testimonials with a wide array of Americans. These on-camera moments are being used in combination with design elements to raise awareness for the event.
