Open Question: tv had a huge amount of static. i shut off wiped down with a dampened paper towel dried it and tv wont come ba?
got a tv from friend. hooked up last night. worked fine. i went to shut of from buttons on the front and pushed wrong ones. went to a screen that looked like you didn’t have cable or satellite. my brother came down did a little troubleshooting.. in the back of my tivo he switched it from channel 3 to 4 and not sure what else and the picture came up satellite rebooting.. he had forgotten to hook the receiver back up. we shut off tv. he hooked up receiver. it had a lot of static on the front screen. lifted my hair.. while it was unplugged i got a slightly dampened paper towel. went over screen.. dried it.. static was gone. tv wont turn back on.. whats up with that
