How can I reset my Samsung Nexus 50 XM receiver? It locks up every time I turn it on?

It worked well for a month, but now it usually freezes on the “XM” intro screen. Otherwise it goes through to the normal playback display, but will not play anything and none of the buttons work. Nothing has happened to the unit itself, it has simply stopped working.
