How can I make satellite TV work better in the rain?

Whenever it rains heavily, my satellite TV signal gets all skewed and stops working properly. Can anything be done to make the situation better?

i wish i knew..when i first got my dish it worked well, unless there was a really bad storm, but lately, any amount of rain will make my dish go out

    Yes, there are two things:
    1. Create a rain shield
    2. Contact a local satellite satellite installer to come out and peak the alignment of your dish. He can also tighten the mounting of the dish to reduce vibration when the rain hits it.

Local satellite installers can be found on in the local installation network section and hired for about $50 bucks a service call

    Buy a shield!

    Or use internet TV!
