I’ve seen a few sites that offer access to “1000s of satellite TV stations” for a one off fee of $40 or so. Anything that seems too good to be true usually is, does anyone have experience of this, does it work, are they any good, is it legal?
If so, anyone know where they get it from, is it hacked uplinks, or streaming from a dish strapped to someone’s house?

yes they are legal….
BUT…… all of the channels are either webcast or foriegn channels…
…none are from hacked uplinks or from someones house…
ALL of them are legal…probably, but they all suck..
The only program worth bothering with (and i have done extensive research) is TVU Player, which features SCI-Fi and has had CW, and ABC1.
PLUS the whole $40 thing is a scam THEY ARE SELLING YOU FREE SOFTWARE!

Not all are genuine. Most of them are either pure scam or illegal. I am using this service for last couple of months, it’s working perfectly fine.
