MDU Communications (USA) Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of MDU Communications International, Inc. (OTCBB: MDTV), continues its push to become the provider of choice to the Northeastern multi-dwelling unit marketplace and has entered into a seven year marketing, installation and service agreement to provide DIRECTV(R) digital satellite television services to The Mansions at Hockanum Crossing, a new 424 unit residential complex in Vernon, Connecticut. MDTV will be the sole provider of television services to the property.

The Mansions is a three-phase new construction property. The first phase of 131 units is currently being completed and MDTV has been activating customers as they move in. The second and third phases are slated for completion in fall of 2002 and fall 2003 respectively. The Mansions is being developed and managed by Carrollton Properties who has been in the business of developing class A and B properties for over 35 years. “We recognize the growing demand for quality amenities such as DIRECTV,” said Jay Adams for Carrollton Properties. “MDU Communications offered a superior video product compared to the local cable company and their responsiveness and efficiency in installing the DIRECTV system and connecting customers reinforced our decision to offer DIRECTV.”
