Open Question: Using sirius at home without a good view of the nothern sky?
I am considering buying a Sirius radio for my car and home. I know a few people with them in their cars, and know that will work well.
However, on the website, it says that for home use, it is best to (for my area), put the antenna by a window facing north, or put it outside facing north. The issue is, the only window in my room faces southeast, and I probably won’t be able to mount the antenna on the roof.
Now my question is, would I have any chance of getting a signal in my house?
I know there is one of those repeater towers about 25-30 miles from my house. Does anyone know how far you can be from one to get a useable signal?
