High voltage audio.
This was originally a 50KVDC power supply. Either the rectifier or the filter capicitor failed, so I drained the mineral oil and used a torch to unsolder the case. I removed the capacitor and rectifier just connected the xfmr to the output terminals directly. I soldered the case back together and refilled it with mineral oil.
I have the primary connected to a Sony XM-250 car audio amp…
